Call auction
A form of trading where orders are pooled and executed at a single price at specified time points.
Call option
An option contract which gives the holder the right to buy a fixed number of shares at the stated exercise price at any time up to a fixed expiry date.

Capital structure
The permanent long-term financing of a company, including long-term debt, common stock and preferred stock, and retained earnings. It differs from financial structure, which includes short-term debt and accounts payable.
Cash flow
The total cash receipts (inflow) or cash payments (outflow) arising from a given asset, or group of assets, for a given period. Net cash flow is the inflows less the outflows.
Cash settlement
The procedure by which index futures and index options contracts are settled. Because an investor cannot directly buy or sell an index, index futures and options contracts are cash settled by allocating a dollar amount to each index point.
